I had a photo-shoot with my star. These are the best ones and I will choose from one of these. I tried to take several different types of photo's so that I had a range to choose from.

Album Release Advert - Plan
In order to achieve this I will have to take photo's of my star. There are a few things I must do in order to get the right kind of photo.
- The photo will have to fit the Folk genre so I will use light make up and a plain white back ground for simplicity as this is often present in Folk adverts.
- The photo's I will take will be very natural and calm in order to fit the genre.
- I will also have my star showing some skin as this is a very natural look, also common in folk adverts. Showing skin is also something that appeals to a wide audience.
- I will take mid shots and close-ups of my star as these are whats common for star image in adverts.
The Importance of the Album Release Date Poster
I have made an Animato to show just how important an Album release date poster is and shows examples.
Advert Copy
In order to practise my Photoshop skills, look at what makes up an advert or an Album or Single and see how this is done I have taken a Single release date advert for Eminem - Lost Yourself and copied it as best I can. I feel my poster looks very similar so I consider the task successful. This was the result;

My Digipak in Photographs
In order to test that my digipak works I have printed it out and made a physical copy. The layout and structure work well and I have found no problems.
